Restore Nautilus as default desktop file manager for Unity, 

apt install --reinstall nautilus 

rm -rf ~/.config/nautilus/ 

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background show-desktop-icons true 

xdg-mime default nautilus.desktop inode/directory application/x-gnome-saved-search

Enable traditional right click to resize a window, 

sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager 

ccsm 

Window Management and Resize Window. 

Initiate Window Resize assign <Alt>Button3.
